Stickiness of screen printing ink

The wettability of the ink is good, which is beneficial to the fixation effect. If the substrate has not been wetted and the ink has been dried or cured, the fixation effect is poor, which involves the fluidity of the ink. Flow performance is also closely related to other factors of silk screen printing.

The material of the substrate directly affects the fixation effect of the screen printing ink. Formulating special inks for different substrates is a way to overcome this effect. The fixation fastness of the ink on the substrate can also be improved by modifying the substrate, surface treatment and other methods.

The fixing effect of the ink can be improved by modifying the substrate. If some fillers are added to the olefins that are difficult to screen print, such as adding some BaS0 4 to the polypropylene resin , and at the same time mixing some random polypropylene, the fixing effect of the products on the ink will be greatly improved.

Cleaning the surface of the substrate can also improve the fixation fastness of the ink on it. The presence of dust, grease, and dirt on the surface of the substrate makes it difficult for the ink to fix and needs to be removed.

Oxidizing the surface of the substrate, changing the surface state of the substrate, etc. will greatly improve the fixing effect of the ink. Vinyl, which is usually difficult to screen print, can be printed more smoothly after chemical treatment, flame treatment, electronic impact and other treatments.

Pretreatment of the substrate with a coupling agent can promote the activation of the surface groups and improve the fixation effect of the ink on the substrate.
