Precautions for the operation of paper stiffness meter

Paper stiffness is an important indicator of paper and board materials. Stiffness directly affects the bending properties of paper ( stiffness is also called bending stiffness ). Our paper mills generally need to be equipped with a set of paper stiffness Testers for follow-up testing. However, the maintenance and after-use maintenance of the paper stiffness Tester often have a certain impact on the accuracy of the measurement data.

Precautions

1. The stiffness chuck should not clamp other samples before starting to use, so as not to affect the reset accuracy and crush the sensor.

2. Please warm up for 10 minutes before testing every day; it is strongly recommended to ground the protective ground wire; once the product data shows abnormality, please turn off the power immediately. It takes more than 10 minutes between turning off the power switch and turning it on again.

3. When selecting the sample, the surface of the sample should be free from defects such as wrinkles, wrinkles, and visible damage.

4. Cut the sample with a special stiffness sampler.

5. Mechanical zero adjustment: select a sample as the zero adjustment sample, gently turn the handle of the fixture with one hand, and put a section of the sample to be tested into the fixture with the other hand. Adjust the fine-tuning screw on the sensor end until the sample is close to the sensor measuring head to complete the mechanical calibration.

6. Do not touch the sensor.

maintenance method

1. When not in use for a long time, keep the testing machine clean and add a dust cover.

2. If the testing machine breaks down, professionals should be invited to check and eliminate it. Do not operate in a faulty condition.

3. The transmission screw of the testing machine should be filled with a small amount of lubricating oil from time to time.

4. Adhere to regular verification to keep the testing machine in good technical condition. The verification period is generally one year.
