The cardboard folding Tester is designed according to the principle of the number of reciprocating times required for the sample to be folded back and forth at a certain angle under a certain tension and a certain speed until the sample is broken.

1. Transmission mechanism

The motor, a set of synchronous pulleys and the eccentric bearing on the final stage synchronous pulley slide in the long groove of the sector gear, thereby driving the sector gear to reciprocate around its axis, and the sector gear meshes with the gear at the end of the folding head seat , the reciprocating swing of the sector gear around the axis is converted into the reciprocating rotation of the folding head seat to complete the reciprocating motion of the folding head at an angle of 135°.

2. Upper chuck part

The left and right clamping blocks are clamped by threaded knobs, and there is a guide shaft at the upper end of the left and right clamping blocks to ensure the parallel movement of the left and right clamping blocks. The collet is connected with the tension rod, and there is a tension spring on the upper end of the tension rod to apply tension to the sample. The tension is set according to the test requirements, and the tension range is 4.9N~14.7N.

3. Folding head part

Turn the clamping screw to push the clamping block to clamp the sample and fold the sample back and forth. The folding Tester is equipped with two sets of folding heads, the width of the folding head is 0.5mm and 0.75mm respectively, which can be selected according to the thickness of the sample.
