Color difference meter applied to the appearance color difference detection of electric kettle

The electric kettle adopts steam intelligent induction control, overheating protection, automatic shutdown when water boils, anti-dry power supply and a device for quickly boiling water.

The market competition in the electric kettle industry is becoming more and more fierce, product homogeneity is inevitable, and differentiated marketing has appeared at a historic moment. In recent years, electric kettle products have gradually diversified from the traditional function of boiling water. The upgrade of the appearance of the additional function is that electric kettle manufacturers have begun to pay attention to the personalized design of the product appearance, such as the appearance with a flashing light effect, the light is red when it is not boiling, and the light turns blue when it is boiled. From a practical point of view, the feature of this function can intuitively tell consumers that the water is ready, and electric kettles with similar functions are increasingly favored by consumers.

The appearance inspection standard of the electric kettle is the main surface, non-main surface and internal surface. The main surfaces include:

a. The surface is smooth, uniform in color, clean, free of cracks, scratches, deformation, no obvious spots, depressions, and white tops

b. No defects such as variegation, flash, shrinkage marks, weld marks, and obvious dissatisfaction;

c. No obvious color difference;

The color difference here is mainly to test the color difference between the electric kettle and the Color Chart. It is difficult for the human eye to accurately see the color difference between the two, unless it is a master with many years of color matching experience. Therefore, color measuring instruments, such as Colorimeters, are generally used. Colorimeters can be divided into two types according to different working principles: photoelectric integral Colorimeters and spectroscopic Colorimeters. The photoelectric integral Colorimeter is commonly known as the precision Colorimeter, and the spectroscopic Colorimeter is commonly known as the Spectrophotometer .
