Do you think the difference between genuine and counterfeit RCA paper tapes is just 0.1 coefficient?

RCA paper tape is used to test the wear resistance of metal, plastic, electronic and other surface printing layers, and is widely used in automobiles, electrical appliances, mobile phones, and plastic coating industries. As the original manufacturer of the famous RCA wear-resistant testing machine, NormanTool is also well-known for its supporting RCA wear-resistant paper tape. The international standard ASTM F2357 is to use the norman RCA paper tape testing machine and the test paper tape to test the abrasion resistance of the ink coating on the membrane switch.

In the commercial field, the popularity of a product often attracts the jealousy of other manufacturers to imitate it. The same is true for RCA paper tapes, and there are many fakes at home and abroad. For users who do not have high requirements for experimental testing, they think that genuine and fake products are only different in coefficients, and it is OK to convert them. However, is this really the case? NO!

NBCHAO, as the general agent of RCA paper tape, will tell you today, how does fake RCA paper tape affect the test results?

The surface roughness of the paper tape is not standard and uneven

Factors such as wood source and type, other cellulose sources (vegetables, recycled paper, etc.), chemical and mechanical pulping processes, acids, bleaches, deinking processes, chemical additives (chalk, clay, etc.), whitening/brightening ingredients Will affect the paper quality of RCA tape. Depending on the raw material and the amount of material, the surface roughness of the final produced RCA paper tape will be different.

It is not difficult to produce paper tapes that look the same, but RCA paper tapes that are exactly the same paper quality are not so easy.

NORMAN Tool RCA tape has strict requirements on the above-mentioned components for the paper produced by the paper manufacturer, which ensures the consistency and standardization of the RCA tape.

The direct performance of the quality of RCA paper tape is the surface roughness. The roughness level affects the wear resistance coefficient of the paper tape, and the uniformity of the roughness affects the stability of the test results of the paper tape.

If you choose a non-genuine RCA paper tape, can you guarantee that the roughness of the paper tape is standard? Is the roughness uniform?

The inconsistency of the roughness is ultimately the difference between the RCA tape calibration coefficient and the actual coefficient.

What are the consequences of the difference between the calibration coefficient and the actual coefficient?

The RCA wear test is to use the friction coefficient of the RCA paper tape x the number of cycles of the test to compare the results with the standard number of wear cycles.

If you use a paper tape with a coefficient of 1 at the beginning, the standard number of turns is 300, and now you use a test tape with a coefficient of 1.2, then your test result should be 250 turns.

The greater the Abrasion Factor of the tape, the smaller the number of revolutions required for the test. If the calibration coefficient of the RCA tape is smaller than the actual coefficient, the number of turns in the test result is bound to be more than the actual one. On the contrary, it is less than the actual one.

1) Increase the production cost of the enterprise and reduce the profit of the enterprise

Assuming that the actual ink layer amount of 10g can reach the abrasion resistance of the standard product, the test data of the paper tape used is too small, which leads the production staff to increase the ink amount to 20g to keep the test result consistent with the standard product requirements. However, in reality you only need 10g of material cost, and now the cost is doubled at once. This invisibly causes much cost loss to the enterprise.

2) The product quality is not up to standard, causing losses to the enterprise

If the calibration coefficient is 2 and the actual coefficient is 1, then the number of standard test circles required by the customer will be less than the actual number. A substandard test result is a substandard product quality. Once the user returns the product, the loss of the enterprise is not a matter of thousands of dollars.

So, don't pick up the seeds and lose the watermelon.
