The measurement of transparency is an important technical indicator of the above-mentioned liquid substances. If solvent-based products contain mechanical impurities and moisture, etc., it will affect the gloss and color of the film after formation, and delay the operation time of the paint film.
During the measurement, the sample is generally poured into a dry, clean colorless glass test tube with an inner diameter of 15 ± 1 mm, and observed under natural scattered light. It can also be measured by photoelectric turbidimeter. The latter can eliminate the interference of the visual inspection results due to the different color shades of the product, and improve the accuracy of the test.
