Wrinkled skin mainly appears on the paint film of oil paint. Because the surface of the coating dries too quickly and forms a film quickly, which isolates the contact between the inner layer and the air, the drying of the inner paint film is affected. The difference in drying speed between the two layers of paint film leads to wrinkled skin. The specific reasons are as follows:
(1) Mix fast-drying paint with slow-drying paint. The fast-drying paint dries first and forms a varnish; while the slow-drying paint slowly forms a paint film, which causes the paint film to wrinkle;
(2) Excessive cobalt manganese drier is added to the oily blended paint, which will also cause wrinkled skin;
(3) Uneven paint application, resulting in uneven paint thickness (it is recommended that you use a paint Thickness Gauge) , especially when the paint accumulates too much in the corner depressions, and the thick parts will wrinkle;
(4) When painting or just after painting, encounter high temperature and sunlight exposure, so that the paint surface will dry conjunctiva in advance, and the internal paint film will not have time to dry, forming wrinkled skin.
The method of preventing the paint film from wrinkling is as follows:
The drier in the paint should not be added too much; fast-drying paint and slow-drying paint cannot be mixed; the surface of the paint must be smooth and smooth before painting; the paint should be uniform in thickness, Do not expose to the sun or place in high temperature after painting.
