Causes and preventive measures for the surface paints not covering the bottom layer

Bottom morbidity means that varnishes and paints cannot cover the bottom layer. The varnish electric bottom generally appears on the wood, mainly refers to the exposed white wood at the edges and corners, and the holes with scratches. Most of the reasons are that when the self-wood was polished, the edges and corners were not bald, and the polishing of some edges and corners was ignored; or the broken wood thorns in the nail holes and other places were not scraped clean with a chisel. Therefore, the paint film on these parts is easy to be polished off by emery cloth or water sandpaper, resulting in whiteness. In this case, a little thicker shellac paint (adding the same color pigment as the original paint film) can be used to make up the color of the white part with a small brush. Evenly, cover with varnish.

The main reason for the exposed base of the paint is that the top coat is too thin and the paint is too thin when brushing the bottom and surface of the paint with different colors (it is recommended to use a paint Thickness Gauge); or the color of the primer and the top coat are obviously different , only brush the topcoat once. If the bottom is slightly exposed, you can use a brush or paintbrush to make up the color paint evenly; if there are spots of exposed bottom, you have to use fine sandpaper to smooth the paint film and repaint it.

If the spray paint is too thin or the moving speed of the Spray Gun is uneven, the distance between the back and forth spray paths is too large, so that the paint liquid cannot be evenly distributed, which will cause the bottom to be exposed. In this regard, as long as you pay attention to the construction operation method, you can correct it.
