Using a dyne pen is a quick and easy way to control plastic substrates with sufficient surface tension during printing, coating and lamination.

To avoid having to scrap a large number of poorly printed substrates due to insufficient bonding, it is always advisable to inspect corona treated material prior to processing. Using a felt-tip dyne pen is an easy and inexpensive way to check that a substrate is ready for processing.

Reduce waste generation
Fast and reliable test results

How to Measure Surface Tension Using a Dyne Pen
The test is performed by simply passing the dyne pen through the material to be treated, creating a line. If the thread is continuous, the dyne level is correct - if the thread breaks into droplets, the dyne level is incorrect and the surface tension will not be suitable for printing, coating or laminating.
On partially treated substrates, the ink can also be used to indicate whether the correct areas have been treated.
