Types of Vickers Hardness Testers and selection of test force
Abstract:
维氏硬度计根据试验力的大小分为三类：维氏硬度试验、小载荷维氏硬度试验和显微维氏硬度试验。维氏硬度试验的试验力值范围较广，通常大于980.7N，而小载荷和显微维氏硬度试验则使用较小的试验力。不同试验力适用于不同材料和硬度测试要求。
The Vickers hardness test is subdivided into three types of tests according to the test force, namely: Vickers hardness test, small load Vickers hardness test and micro Vickers hardness test. see table 1

Note:
1. The Vickers hardness test can use a test force greater than 980.7N;
2. The micro-Vickers test force is the recommended value.
