The role of paint and film formation method

Abstract: 涂料的作用包括保护基材、提供装饰效果及赋予特殊功能如绝缘、防污和抗菌等。其成膜方式分为物理成膜和化学成膜两类。物理成膜方式包括溶剂挥发和聚合物凝聚,而化学成膜方式则包括氧化聚合和交联固化。不同的成膜方式适用于不同类型的涂料,满足各种应用需求。

Coating film formation method

(1) Physical film formation method

① Solvent volatilization and film formation

Such as nitrocellulose paint, asphalt paint and rubber paint, etc. 

② Polymer coagulation and film formation

Such as architectural latex coatings, non-water-dispersible coatings and organic sols. 

(2) Chemical film formation method

① Oxidative polymerization type

     Oxidation-polymerized coatings generally refer to grease or grease-modified coatings. The oil components are mostly dry oils, that is, glycerides of mixed unsaturated fatty acids.

② Cross-linked curing type

According to the different ways of cross-linking initiation, the cross-linking curing type film can be divided into: curing agent curing type, heat curing type, ultraviolet light curing type, etc.
