Properties of nitro paint

Nitrocellulose is the main film-forming material of nitrocellulose coatings, which is composed of soft and hard resins such as alkyd resins, modified rosin resins, acrylic resins, and amino resins.

In general, plasticizers such as dibutyl phthalate, dioctyl phthalate, oxidized castor oil, etc. need to be added. Solvents mainly include real solvents such as esters, ketones, and alcohol ethers, co-solvents such as alcohols, and thinners such as benzene. Nitrocellulose paint is mainly used for painting wood and furniture, home decoration, general decorative paint, metal paint, general cement paint, etc.
