乙烯基漆包括多种类型，如醋酸乙烯共聚物树脂涂料和聚乙烯醇丁醛涂料等。其主要优点包括良好的耐候性、耐化学腐蚀、耐水性、绝缘性、耐霉菌性及柔韧性。然而，乙烯基漆的耐热性较差，难以制作高固度涂料，机械性能一般，装饰性能不足。它主要用于工业防腐漆、电气绝缘漆、磷化底漆、金属漆和外墙漆等领域。
Vinyl paints include vinyl acetate copolymer resin coatings, polyvinyl butyral coatings, vinylidene chloride, perchlorethylene, and chlorosulfonated polyethylene coatings. The main advantages of vinyl paint are weather resistance, chemical resistance, water resistance, insulation, mold resistance, and good flexibility. Its disadvantages mainly lie in general heat resistance, difficulty in making high-solid coatings, general mechanical properties, and poor decorative properties. Vinyl paints are mainly used in industrial anti-corrosion paints, electrical insulating paints, phosphating primers, metallic paints, exterior wall paints, etc.
