The instrument has two rubber grinding wheels, one wears the template from the center outward, and the other wears the template from the outside to the center. Depending on the test requirements, different loads can also be applied to the wheels. The test sample plate is fixed on the turntable under the runner. The test can be carried out by dry grinding or wet grinding. The results are expressed in terms of the number of grinding cycles required to grind through the paint film or the weight loss of the paint film after a certain number of grinding cycles.
