Reflectance Testers are used to measure the covering power of paint films. It consists of a host, a probe, a standard board (one black and one black), and a working ceramic board (two black and white boards). Comply with GB/T13452.3, 5211.17, 23981, GB/T 9270 and other standards. It is a special instrument developed for the implementation of international and national standards in the chemical industry such as paints, pigments, and inks.
The probe adopts the principle of diffuse reflection receiving of 0° illumination. When the reflected light of the sample acts on the surface of the silicon photocell, an electrical signal is generated, which is input to a DC amplifier for amplification, and the reading is displayed.

First connect the probe to the host
Turn on the power
Put the probe on the standard white board in turn for full adjustment and the standard black board for zero adjustment
Place the pre-coated substrate on a black and white work board for testing
Divide the value of the black work board by the value of the white work board to get the reflectance value
