The easy way to measure laminate grammage is to cut a 1m x 1m sample and measure it on a weighing scale, this may not actually be possible as you don't get a 1m x 1m sample and cut 1m Multiplying a 1 meter sample becomes very tedious and difficult, so a good approach is to cut a small sample, maybe 1 then measure it on a weighing scale and multiply it by 100. Simple isn't it?
Now how to accurately cut a sample that is exactly 1/100 square meter?
Here is its solution:
Obtain a 10 cm x 10 cm square template and cut out samples.
Weigh on a weighted scale and multiply the reading by 100
If you make a mistake, you can choose to use a quantitative sampler and get more scientifically accurate results.
Make sure you have high performance rubber pads to support the cut, otherwise the cutting blade will break.
