Before the test

  • The sample to be tested and the roughness meter should be parallel to the ground in the horizontal and vertical directions.

  • The measurement process should be carried out on a marble platform or a small platform.

  • The working environment should control the temperature within the range of - 20°C ~ 40°C, and the humidity should be < 90% RH.

  • According to sample characteristics and measurement requirements, accessories such as surface sensors, measurement platforms, and extension rods are selected.

  • In daily storage and transportation, it should be placed in an environment with a temperature of -40°C ~ 60°C and a humidity < 90% RH.

  • Adjust the needle position to "0" before measuring, and the up and down cannot exceed two divisions.
