Introduction

The WYA-2S digital Abbe refractometer is equipped with a highly accurate temperature sensor, with an external thermostatic Water Bath interface, which can be configured with a compact thermostatic Water Bath to meet the measurement under different temperature conditions.The WYA-2S digital Abbe refractometer has an eyepiece, which is composed of a visual telescope component and a dispersion correction component, with a clear interface and a hard glass prism, which has the advantages of anti-corrosion and scratch resistance. The spotlight unit No. 4 is movable, flexible and easy to adjust.

The refractive index as a function of the Brix value

The WYA-2S digital Abbe refractometer measures the refractive index of the solution, while the Brix value is the concentration of the aqueous solution of sucrose, which indicates the total amount of soluble solids in the solution, including salts, proteins, etc. For some items, measurements can be made by establishing a conversion relationship between the Brix value and the actual concentration of the sample.
