JFL QHQ-3084 pencil Hardness Tester is a portable pencil Hardness Tester with three weights of 500g/750g/1000g, of which 500g is the main body and 750g/1000g is the weight. Pencils with different hardness are used to measure the paint film by manually pushing the trolley hardness. QHQ-3084 pencil Hardness Tester is designed and manufactured according to GB/T5739-1996, and is suitable for measuring the hardness value of paint film in the fields of paint, coating, ink and so on.
The structure of the QHQ-3084 Pencil Hardness Tester is a mechanical type, with three points contacting the surface to be tested. Two points are the wheels, and one point is the pen core. Keep forming an angle of 45 degrees with the coating film to be tested, and forcefully push the pencil Hardness Tester horizontally to complete the test process and measure the ability of the coating film to resist deformation.
1. Prepare materials: Prepare three pieces of test pieces according to GB1279-79 "General Preparation Method of Paint Film" (generally smooth tin plate 120*50*(0.2-0.3)mm, or the substrate and size specified by the product ) .
2. Use a pencil sharpener to sharpen the pencil to expose the cylindrical lead 5-6mm (do not loosen or scratch the lead), and rub the lead with sandpaper to get a lead with a flat end surface and sharp edges.
3. Put the QHQ-3084 pencil Hardness Tester on a flat workbench, place the block under the pencil Hardness Tester, insert the sharpened pencil into the main hole of the Hardness Tester, the edge of the pencil touches the workbench, and rotate Tighten the screws.
4. Put the QHQ-3084 Pencil Hardness Tester on the tested board, push it forward at a speed of about 1mm per second with force (this force may break the edge of the lead core or plow the film).
5. Start the test from the hardest pencil, and plow five 3mm-long traces with each level of pencil until you find a pencil that does not plow the coating film. The hardness of this pencil represents the pencil hardness of the measured coating film.
