Haibao LX-AO-2 Shore Hardness Tester is an AO type Shore Hardness Tester produced by Haibao Instruments. The measuring range is 10-90HAO. It is a hardness testing instrument suitable for measuring the hardness of low-hardness vulcanized rubber and thermoplastic rubber and other material products. Haibao designed and produced this LX-AO-2 AO Shore Hardness Tester according to the international standard AO Shore Hardness Tester GB/T531.1, international standard ISO7619-1 and JJF 1312. It has the characteristics of stable and fast measurement, And it has double pointers, which can be purchased separately for matching use with a test bench, which will have better stability and make experiments easier.
Note: Use the Shore Hardness Tester, when the A-type Hardness Tester shows a value lower than 20HA, it is recommended to use the AO-type Shore Hardness Tester.
The functional structure of AO Shore Hardness Tester LX-AO-2 includes: tracking pointer (black), locking screw, peak pointer (red), peak pointer return knob, dial, presser foot, presser needle, etc. Specifications The size chart is as follows:

AO Shore Hardness Tester LX-AO-2 complies with the following standards: National Standard GB/T531.1-2008 "Vulcanized Rubber or Thermoplastic Rubber Indentation Hardness Test Method Part One: Shore Hardness Tester Method (Shore Hardness)", International Standard ISO7619-1:2004 "Vulcanized Rubber or Thermoplastic Rubber Indentation Hardness Test Method Part One: Shore Durometer Method (Shore Hardness)"; JJF 1312-2011 "AO Type Shore Durometer Calibration Specification".
1. Place the test sample on a solid plane, hold the AO-type Shore Hardness Tester LX-AO-2 with one hand, and keep the indenter at least 12mm away from the edge of the test block;
2. Press the presser foot firmly on the sample without any vibration, and keep the presser foot parallel to the surface of the sample so that the indenter can press into the sample vertically (the force applied should be enough to make the presser foot and the test piece close contact)
3. Read at the specified time, 3 seconds for vulcanized rubber or unknown type rubber, 15 seconds for thermoplastic rubber; if other sample time is used, it should be stated in the test report.
4. Measure the hardness value 5 times at different positions at least 6mm apart from the sample, and take the average value.
5. The indication reading is based on the value indicated by the peak pointer.
Note: AO-type Shore Hardness Tester LX-AO-2 can be used for hand-held testing, and can also be used for testing with a test bench.
