Overview of SP1895 Paint Film Impact Testing Machine

The Dutch TQC paint film impact testing machine SP1895 uses a V-shaped sample slot with spring clamps. It is a paint film drop weight impact testing machine that complies with international standards ASTM G14-04 and EN 12206-1:2004. The paint film impact testing machine SP1895 is equipped with a bubble level at the base to ensure that the testing machine is placed in a horizontal position.

The Dutch TQC paint film impact testing machine SP1895 is suitable for testing the impact resistance and flexibility of paint films. It is judged by impacting the paint film and observing the cracking on the surface of the paint film.

SP1895 paint film impact testing machine operation process

1) Check whether the SP1895 paint film impact testing machine is placed horizontally, whether all components are installed correctly and a punch of appropriate diameter is selected.

2) Use the compression handle on the side to compress the test board.

3) Gently lower the weight onto the punch and adjust the guide tube. The 0 mark on the guide tube should be kept level with the bracket of the drop weight.

4) Make sure that the punch can be raised when the red button is pressed and the drop weight can slide freely on the pipe.

5) Adjust the height limit ring, and adjust the weight to the corresponding scale line in the conduit according to the height required for the test.

6) Raise the drop weight and lock it with the release clamp.

7) Raise the drop weight to the starting position and press the red button to release the test sample.

8) Check the test sample for coating cracking.

9) The test can be repeated according to experimental needs.
