How the surface roughness Tester works

AR-132BSurface roughness meterWhen measuring the surface roughness of the workpiece, the sensor is placed on the surface to be measured on the workpiece, and the driving mechanism inside the instrument drives the sensor to slide along the measured surface at equal velocity, and the sensor feels the roughness of the measured surface through the built-in sharp stylus, and the roughness of the measured surface of the workpiece causes the stylus to produce displacement, and the displacement makes the inductance of the sensor inductance coil change, so that an analog signal proportional to the surface roughness of the measured surface is generated at the output end of the phase-sensitive rectifier, and the signal enters the data acquisition system and DSP after amplification and level conversion The chip digitally filters and calculates the collected data, and the measurement results are displayed on the LCD display, and can communicate with the PC to achieve data analysis, statistics and printing.
