Film thickness checking Tester

Designed for checking Film thickness evaluation, range 0~2500 μm, Graduation 100 μm, stainless steel.

The crack thickness Tester is mainly used to prepare a coating film of different thickness, and make it dry under the specified conditions, and observe the thickness of the coating film after drying, so as to determine the crack thickness of the coating.

Instructions

It is used to produce a coating film with a continuous change in thickness, then dry it under specified conditions, and read the minimum thickness value at the cracking position after drying to evaluate the cracking thickness of the coating. There are two types of instruments: the test plate type has a chute with a depth scale in the middle, use a scraper to scrape the sample coating into the chute and scrape off the excess material on the board surface, and then the drying evaluation can be carried out. The preparer type has a beveled edge with a depth scale, and the sample coating is applied to the substrate test panel by the knife coating method, and then the dry evaluation is carried out.

Precautions

(1) Do not scratch the bottom plate, scraper and the working surface of the Applicator.

(2) Wash and apply anti-rust agent in time after use.

(3) Check it regularly, and if it is found that the wear or the plane is uneven, it must be corrected before it can continue to be used.
