QGZ-24 Paint Film Drying Time Tester Usage Requirements

1. Test plate: glass plate (200*200*2~3) or smooth tinplate plate (200*200*0.2~0.3) or agreed test plate material.

2. Test environment: According to the requirements of GB1727-79, place the coated test panel horizontally, away from airflow and direct sunlight, and conduct a drying test at a temperature of 25±1℃ and a Relative Humidity of 65±5%. Or conduct drying test according to other agreed conditions.

Principle of QGZ-24 paint film drying time meter

Place the QGZ-24 paint film drying time measuring instrument on the prepared coating film test plate, turn on the power supply and synchronous motor, and drive the rotating arm equipped with a scoring needle through the connecting shaft. (The arm is in a free-falling state) Rotate at a constant speed at the speed of one week/6 hours, one week/12 hours, and one week/24 hours. The scribing needle will draw a circular track with a diameter of 100mm on the coating film. As the coating gradually dries over time, the plow marks made by the needle on the coating change from wide to narrow, from deep to shallow, and finally no trace is left, thus showing the entire drying process.
