1. Remove the black protective cap and flip the switch on the top to turn on the pH pen. (if the pH bulb is dry, it is necessary to live.)otherwise, there will be a large error)
2. Calibrate in standard buffer solution. Note: Whether it is calibration or the testing process, the liquid level of the test solution is not cutThe warning line of the pH pen can be exceeded. (as shown below)

Soak the pH pen in pH 4.00 buffer solution or 3 M KCL solution for 12 h. Confirm that the nib is immersed in at least 1 inch in length, but not beyond the warning line, that is, not more than the immersion height.
Place the activated pH pen in the buffer solution at pH 6.86 and rotate the zero-point correction potentiometer on the back of the pH pen to show the pH of the buffer solution. Then clean the pen, place it in a buffer solution at pH 4.00, and rotate the slope correction potentiometer on the back of the pH pen to show the pH value of the buffer solution.
(Note: The rotation angle of the correction potentiometer is in the range of 0 180 degrees, and it should not be rotated forcefully to avoid damage.) )
