Features

  • Hand-held portable non-destructive Hardness Tester;

  • A Hardness Tester combines a UCI probe with a Leeb probe;

  • The minimum thickness of the test steel can be up to 2mm, and the maximum thickness is unlimited (the minimum test thickness of other materials may vary, depending on the actual hardness);

  • The measurement speed is very fast;

  • Rockwell, Brinell and Vickers values can all be displayed on the screen;

  • Mass storage with USB output;

  • Optional manual loading of UCI probes: 1kg, 2kg, 5kg & 10kg

  • Electrically loaded UCI probes are available: 0.3kg, 0.8kg, & 1kg

  • Selectable Richter probes: D, DC, C, D+15, G & DL

  • Measurement Method: Portable UCI & Leeb Hardness Tester

  • There are currently two basic methods in the field of portable hardness testing.

The hardness test method of "ultrasonic contact impedance method" is based on the vibrating rod welded with a 136° diamond pyramid indenter, excited to its free oscillation frequency, and when the indenter is in perpendicular contact with the measured object under a fixed load, it resonates, and uses this resonant frequency to calculate the hardness value of the measured workpiece. The UCI probe Hardness Tester is slower than the dynamic impact rebound mode, but the UCI method is portable, easy to use, and has higher measurement accuracy. When used for a specific test application, it still has its advantages. Like a dynamic impact rebound Leeb Hardness Tester, the UCI probe Hardness Tester is not affected by large masses of parts, but can also measure parts as low as 2 mm thick and hardness values as low as 20 HRC (75 HB). They also excel at hardness testing of larger, harder metal materials. Another reason for the growing popularity is due to the fact that the UCI test method is classified as "non-destructive testing". This allows the parts that must be inspected, resulting in fewer scrap parts and lower production costs.

"Dynamic impact rebound" In the 1970s, Dr. Leeb of Switzerland proposed the principle of the Leeb portable hardness test. A spring-loaded impactor strikes the surface of the specimen, resulting in a rebound. The ratio of the impact body's rebound velocity to the impact velocity is measured, and the Leeb hardness value is calculated, which can then be automatically converted into HRC, HRB, HB, HV and HS values. This portable hardness testing method effectively delivers simple, fast, and accurate results.

FAQ
QIs the price listed on the website the final cost for overseas purchases?
ANo, it isn't. This is the ex-factory price of the product in the Chinese Mainland. In addition to this price, buyers from different countries need to account for additional costs such as shipping fees, tariffs, and others. For specific regional quotes, please consult our customer service or fill out a quotation form.
QWhat is the specific process for purchasing the product?
AFirst, please click on the quotation form on the website and fill in detailed information. Our customer service personnel will then send you a quotation based on your specific country and region, confirming payment and delivery methods. Following this, we proceed with contract signing, payment, and shipment. You can then await delivery.
QWhat should I do if the instrument I purchase needs repair?
AAfter-sales repair for overseas instruments is an unavoidable issue. Our repair terms stipulate that the sender is responsible for the shipping and insurance costs incurred for the repair. Repairs within the warranty period are free, while repair costs beyond the warranty period are determined based on the actual situation.
