MC-2000CCoating Thickness GaugeThe thickness of the coating is measured by electromagnetic induction. The probe located on the surface of the component creates a closed magnetic loop that changes to varying degrees as the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material changes, causing changes in magnetoresistance and the inductance of the probe coil. This principle allows for an accurate measurement of the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material, i.e., the coating thickness.
