Features

LKTC series coating Thickness Gauge is the crystallization of high technology, using microcomputer technology, high precision, digital display, stable indication value, low power consumption, easy operation, no correction knob, single probe full range measurement, small size, light weight, and has the functions of storage, reading, statistics, low Voltage indication, etc., and its performance has reached the professional level of similar instruments in the world.

Operating Principle

The LKTC series coating Thickness Gauge uses electromagnetic induction to measure the thickness of coatings. The probe located on the surface of the component creates a closed magnetic loop that will close to varying degrees as the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material changes, causing changes in magnetoresistance and the inductance of the probe coil. This principle allows for an accurate measurement of the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material, i.e. the coating thickness.

Scope of application

This instrument adopts magnetic thickness measurement method, which can easily and non-destructively measure the thickness of non-magnetic material coatings on ferromagnetic materials, such as zinc, copper, chromium and other coatings on the surface of steel or the thickness of paint, enamel, fiberglass, spraying, asphalt and other coatings. The instrument is widely used in machinery, automobile, shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical, electroplating, plastic spraying, enamel, plastic and other industries.
