SAG Tester

Paints sag test; 250-475 μm range, 25 μm Graduation; stainless steel; conforms to GB9264 standard; does not apply to varnishes and powder coatings.

Application

The sagging Tester is mainly used to measure the relative sagging of colored paints and provide Specifications for the on-site construction of colored paints. This instrument conforms to GB9264 "Determination of Sag Property of Colored Paint". This instrument is not suitable for testing the sag property of varnish and powder coating.

Instructions

1. Test plate: use a glass plate with a flat and smooth surface of 200mm×120mm×2～3mm.

2. Put the test plate flat on the platform, be careful not to slide, place the instrument on the top of the test plate, fully stir the sample, put a sufficient amount of sample at the opening in front of the instrument, hold the two ends of the instrument with both hands, Move from front to back in a smooth, continuous motion, doing this in 2-3 seconds.

3. Immediately place the coated test panel vertically. When placing, the strip film should be horizontal and keep "thick at the top and thick at the bottom".

4. After the surface of the coating film is dry, observe its sagging situation. If the coating film of this thickness does not flow into the film of the next thickness, it means that the coating film of this thickness does not sag.
