Application

It is used for uneven dry and wet changes in buildings, thermal expansion and contraction, structural settlement and imperfections in design and construction. Almost all buildings have surface capillary cracks, surface penetration cracks, and structural cracks to varying degrees.

Cracks in the exterior wall not only greatly reduce the protection of the building's exterior wall, but also have a certain impact on the aesthetics of the painted surface. In order to make up for the above defects, before painting the exterior wall latex paint, a layer of exterior wall putty must be applied to the wall; the quality of the exterior wall putty is the key.

The DKL automatic dynamic cracking resistance Tester designed and manufactured in accordance with the JG/T157-2004 industry standard is used to test cement, polymer powder, synthetic resin emulsion or other materials as the main binder, supplemented with fillers, additives, etc. Exterior wall leveling putty.

Principle

The motor drags the ejector upward after decelerating through the gear, and the cutting edge generates an upward force, causing the asbestos cement board to gradually produce fine cracks in the specified area and control the slow expansion of the cracks. Observe the cracking of the putty layer to characterize the resistance of the putty. The ability of the base material to propagate cracks.

Instructions

1. Place the mold frame on a 200×150 (mm) asbestos cement board. Then apply the prepared putty inside the frame.

2. Remove the mold frame and place the scraped asbestos cement board in a standard environment for 7 days. Three test plates should be prepared for each sample at the same time.

3. Fix the maintained test plate on the work surface of the instrument, turn on the power switch and then turn on the rising switch. At this time, the cutting edge rises slowly.

4. The cutting edge continues to rise slowly. At this time, attention should be paid to observing the blank areas of the asbestos board. When cracks are found, use a vertical reading microscope to observe and record the crack width at any time until the putty layer cracks. After the stop switch is activated, the cutting edge no longer rises.

5. Record the maximum width of the crack in the asbestos cement board before the putty layer cracks. Accurate to 0.02mm.

6. Activate the lowering switch to return the cutting edge to its original position.

7. Loosen the test plate clamping nut and pressure plate, and remove the test plate. Put in another test plate and repeat the above test steps.

Judgment of results

Among the three test boards, the arithmetic mean of the test results of each test board with a closer value is used as the final result.

Precautions for use

1. When applying putty, make sure the surface is smooth and free of bubbles.

2. When removing the mold frame, pay attention to the edge of the putty layer to avoid cracking and damage.

3. When reading with a reading microscope, the cutting edge should not be retracted to prevent asbestos cement board.

[Note] If you need an illuminated reading microscope, please purchase it separately.

FAQ
QHow can I determine the final value of the test results?
A The final result is the arithmetic mean of the test results for each of the three panels with the nearest numerical value.
QHow to use the DKL automatic dynamic anti-cracking tester for testing?
A The method of use includes placing the frame on the asbestos cement board, coating the puttying liquid, maintaining the test board, fixing the test board on the instrument, starting the power supply and the rise switch, observing and recording the crazing width, and finally removing the test board and repeability test steps.
QWhat is the working principle of DKL automatic dynamic anti-cracking tester?
A The instrument drives the ejector rod to rise through the motor, so that the top force is generated on the edge, and the tiny crazing is gradually generated on the asbestos cement board and the crazing expansion is controlled to evaluate the cracking of the putty layer, so as to characterize the ability of the putty to resist the crazing expansion of the substrate.
