Introduction

QND-Tu 4 viscometer is manufactured according to the relevant regulations in the national standard GB/T1723-93 "Method for measuring the viscosity of paint" and combined with the actual production conditions. This Viscosity Cup is used to measure the conditional viscosity of paint, and is suitable for measuring paint products with a viscosity below 150 seconds. Similar products include QND-1 type viscometer, QND-4A type (bakelite), QND-4B type (aluminum), QND-4D type portable viscometer.

The upper part of the QND-4 viscometer is cylindrical, and the lower part is a conical container. There are three different cups: bakelite, aluminum and copper. But the metal cup shall prevail. Measuring range 10-150s viscosity.

The viscosity measured by the Tusi viscometer is the conditional viscosity, which is the time for a certain amount of sample to flow out of the aperture with a specified diameter at a certain temperature, expressed in seconds (s), and the flow time of the sample can be expressed by the following formula Seconds (s) converted to centistokes of kinematic viscosity (mm2/S):
