LX-A Shore A Rubber Hardness Tester is an instrument for measuring the hardness of vulcanized rubber and its analogues. It implements the American Society for Testing and Materials standard ASTM D 2240-05 and the Japanese national standard JIS K 6253-2006; implements the national standard GB/T 2411-2008, and this standard is equivalent to ISO 868: 2003 "Plastic and Hard Rubber - Determination by Durometer Indentation Hardness (Shore Hardness)" (English version); and refer to the implementation of CHINA's GB/T 531.1-2008, "Test Method for Indentation Hardness of Vulcanized Rubber or Thermoplastic Rubber Part One: Shore Durometer Method (Shore Hardness)", This national standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO 7619-1-2004, and also refers to the relevant provisions of JJG 304-2003 "Shore Hardness Tester Verification Regulations".
The Hardness Tester is installed on the LX-A model constant load measuring frame, which can measure the hardness of the rubber test piece in the laboratory. You can also hold the head of the Hardness Tester to measure the hardness of the rubber objects mounted on the equipment.
It is suitable for the determination of the hardness of vulcanized rubber and its analog samples in the laboratory
