(1) Inspection and adjustment before use
Check whether the center of the punch rod is consistent with the center of the concave hole of the pillow block. If there is a deviation, adjust the hexagon socket screw 13 on the impact block nut 14.
‚Whether the positioning mark is aligned with the zero line, put down the weight, and observe whether the engraved line on the positioning mark coincides with the zero line. If there is a deviation, adjust the screws on both sides of the positioning mark 6.
(2) Instructions for use
① Prepare samples according to product standards.
② Place the prepared sample on the pillow block 3 close to the concave hole of the pillow block, with the paint film facing up, and make the impact point not less than 15 mm from the edge of the sample, or in the middle of the sample. If one sample is used for several tests, the distance between the edges of each impact point shall not be less than 15mm.
③According to the stipulations in the product standard, fix the height with the controller screw ②, press the control screw ⑥ and the heavy hammer falls freely on the punch 4, and the punch transmits the impact force to the sample block on the pillow block.
Lift the weight, the hook on the weight is automatically hooked by the controller, take out the model and observe it with a four-fold magnifying glass or visually (if the standard allows visual observers), when the paint film has no cracks, wrinkles and peeling, The drop height of the heavy hammer can be increased, and the test of the impact strength of the paint film can be continued until the paint film is damaged or the paint film can withstand the impact of a heavy hammer at a height of 50 cm.
Each test shall be carried out on a new part of the sample.
According to the tightness of the paint film, the height of the hammer should be increased by 2-10 cm each time the test is repeated.
④ The impact strength of the paint film is expressed in centimeters at the maximum height at which a 1 kg weight impacts the paint film without causing damage.
If the impact strength of the paint film has been indicated in the product standard, the weight can be dropped directly from the specified height during the test.
If properly specified in the product standard, the special paint film can be tested by the anti-impact method. At this time, the painted side of the sample should be placed on the pillow block for the test.
