Under satisfactory conditions, the sample to be measured should be stirred when performing electrochemical measurements. The use of a stir plate allows for proper mixing and the sample to be homogeneous in consistency and temperature. Stirring the sample also helps speed up the sensor's response time for stable readings.

Speedsafe⢠Safe Speed ââProtection System
Typically in the laboratory, samples are removed from the mixer before the speed is sufficiently reduced. Often this causes the internal motor to accelerate until it breaks.
To control the speed of viscosity changes or load removal, magnetic micro stirrers incorporate a Speedsafe⢠mechanism.
Using Speedsafeâ¢, a speed sensing device (photo sensor) is coupled with an FVC (Frequency to Voltage Converter) to monitor the stirring speed. When the speed reaches a preset maximum level, the speed limiter switches off the VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) to reduce the motor speed.
This ensures that when the load is suddenly removed from the blender, the motor will not accelerate to high speeds that would be harmful to both the user and the blender; a feature not commonly found in conventional blenders.
ABS shell material
The HI190M mini blender is equipped with an ABS shell material that can resist a variety of chemical corrosion. It is lightweight and durable, and can resist the harmful effects of chemicals that may accidentally spill. It also avoids damage to the instrument due to accidental drops.
