Based on the popular traditional KREBS method, which uses a weight-driven rotating paddle to sense paint viscosity at a constant 200 rpm, this modern digital Krebs viscometer (480) offers automatic motor operation without weight and pulleys for accurate direct readings (Krebs units), mPa.s (cP) or g (grams) in the KU. The conversion between these units is automatically calculated by the microprocessor and displayed according to the requirements. The rugged construction allows for use in a production environment or in the lab.
Single or continuous readings KU, mPa.s(cP), grams
Out-of-range indication
The rotor shaft is simply mounted into a quick-release chuck
Easy to clean
The safety height sensor prevents the rotor from rotating above the can
Possibility of multi-point calibration with user-selectable keys
Memorize 9 readings
RS232 serial port interface with printer
Complies with ASTM D1131, ASTM D562, ASTM D856.
