The measuring principle is simple, but reliable. It is based on a well-established method for measuring the resistance of the rotating spindle in the sample being measured. The resulting viscosity value is then automatically calculated by combining the resulting torque measurement, rotation speed and spindle characteristics.
The VM1 and VM2 Rotational Viscometers provide accurate measurement of the viscosity range. Use new technology to make VM1 and VM2 comfortable and easy to use.
The VM1 is the standard model for fast and efficient accurate viscosity measurements. The combination of 18 pre-selected speeds (0.3-100 rpm) and shaft combinations provides operational flexibility to meet numerous requirements for product analysis and industrial quality control.
VM2 is an enhanced version that allows advanced viscosity measurements using data logging capabilities. The combination of 19 pre-selected speeds (0.3-200 rpm) and rotating shaft combinations provides a versatile instrument that covers a wide range of industrial R&D or quality control applications. The instrument also has a built-in temperature sensor (0° to 100°C / 32°-212°F) to closely monitor the health of the product during testing.
