The testo 176 T3 electronic temperature data logger enables simultaneous measurement of up to four channels and can be connected to four external thermocouple temperature probes (type K, T or J) at the same time, making it ideal for applications such as measuring the inlet/return temperature of a radiator. When you order a temperature logger, you can also choose the right thermocouple for your application from our large selection of thermocouple probes.
The advantage of thermocouple temperature probes is their fast response and wide measuring range. For example, if you need to record low ambient temperatures (down to -195 °C) or high ambient temperatures (up to +1,000 °C), you can choose a type K thermocouple, depending on the type of probe you choose. Suitable for ultra-low and ultra-high temperature monitoring in industrial processes.
The electronic data logger is equipped with a large memory capacity and can store up to 2 million sets of data. It is suitable for long-term continuous temperature measurement without frequent data reading. The battery life of up to 8 years also ensures long-term uninterrupted temperature monitoring and documentation.
Technical features and practical functions
The testo 176 T3 temperature data logger is ideally suited for use in industrial environments thanks to its robust metal housing. At the same time, it has an IP 65 degree of protection to protect against dust and water. Therefore, it is also suitable for use in environments prone to contamination and high dust, and there is no need to remove or remove the temperature logger when the measured environment is being cleaned.
When you use our data loggers, you can fully trust our data security. All stored measurement data is not lost, even in the event of a depletion of the battery or a replacement battery (which the customer can replace at his own discretion).
Temperature data logger applications
Monitor and record the temperature of frozen or cryogenic environments
Monitor and record the inlet/return temperature of the heating system
Process temperature is monitored and recorded
Monitor and record the inlet/return temperature of the underfloor heating system to confirm that it is working properly
Programming and data reading of the data logger
Testo's new generation of humidity and temperature loggers supports the following three software versions to meet the different needs of customers for instrument programming, data reading and analysis:
The ComSoft Basic software – free to download – provides quick and easy instrument programming and data reading
ComSoft Professional software – optional – provides more professional data analysis and management capabilities
ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 Industry Specialty Software – Optional – Ideal for Industries and Meets CFR 21 Part 11 Standards
You will need a USB cable to connect to a computer for programming the data logger, which is not included in the product packaging.
You also need to use a USB cable or SD card to read the data. Both of these are optional accessories and can be ordered at the same time as your data logger.
