Colony Counter

The colony counter is a digital display semi-automatic bacteria testing instrument. It is composed of counter, probe pen, counting pool and other parts. The counter is designed and manufactured by CMOS integrated circuit. In the counting pool with a black depth background, energy-saving ring lights are used for side lighting, and the colonies are clearly contrasted. According to the bacteria count test regulations, the instrument display is designed to be three digits. When the number of colonies in a petri dish exceeds 999, the test sample should be diluted and redone to ensure the accuracy of the count. This instrument can reduce the labor intensity of experimenters, improve work efficiency and work quality. The products are widely used in the detection of bacterial counts in food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, biological products, sanitary products, drinking water, industrial wastewater, and clinical specimens. Instructions

a. Turn on the power, turn on the light in the counting pool of the toggle switch, and the display will display "000", insert the plug of the probe pen into the jack of the instrument, press the "reset" button to adjust to zero, and the instrument will enter the working state.

b. Put it into the petri dish to be tested.

c. Use a probe pen to count all the colonies one by one on the bottom of the petri dish. Every time you click one, you should hear a "beep" sound to indicate that it is valid, otherwise you should focus on it. At this time, the colonies that have been spotted are marked with colors, and the displayed numbers are automatically accumulated.

d. Check carefully with a magnifying glass to confirm that there are no missing points, and the counting is complete.

e. The number in the display is the number of colonies in the petri dish.

f. Take out the Petri dish after recording the number. Press the "Reset" button, and the display will enter the initial state.
