Introduction

The Protimeter BLD5702 Digital Mini Universal Hygrometer (Hygrometer, Hygrometer, Moisture Meter, Moisture Meter) is a simple, versatile needle hygrometer for measuring humidity conditions in buildings.

The Protimeter BLD5702 Digitalmini Hygrometer is particularly suitable for rapid measurement of moisture in a wide range of building materials, including wood, stone, walls, lime and concrete. The measuring probe of the instrument is small and sharp, so it does not leave a noticeable mark when measuring on the surface of the material.

The measured values are expressed as a percentage of the moisture content of the wood (%MC) and for other materials in the form of the Wood Moisture Equivalent (WME). Therefore, the Protimeter BLD5702 digital mini universal hygrometer can be used to detect whether a building's structure is dry, critical, or wet. In cases where measurement is not convenient, the Protimeter BLD5702 hygrometer can use an extended humidity probe, which is standard. At the same time, an optional hammer electrode probe can be used to measure moisture changes inside the wood.

When building surface conditions are not considered, the Deep Wall Probes option allows a digital mini universal hygrometer to measure humidity deep within the wall. When investigating the causes of moisture problems in buildings, wall drills are a useful accessory.
