QWhat is the difference between Apiezon J and K oils?

Hello, K oil has a higher viscosity than J oil; if a thicker oil is required, K oil is more suitable.
QHow to remove Apiezon J and K oil?
A
Heat can be used to reduce viscosity to make the removal process easier. All deposits can then be dissolved using any aromatic solvent (toluene, Xylene) or removed using a vapor degreasing bath. Apiezon sealing oils do not dissolve in alcohols (ethanol, IPA) or ketones (acetone, MEK) and therefore cannot be used for cleaning.
