Introduction

PN-BST smoothness Tester is a testing instrument for the surface smoothness of paper and cardboard (Buick Bekk type) designed and developed according to the national standard GB/T456.

Smoothness is an index to evaluate the unevenness of the paper surface, which indicates the flatness and smoothness of the paper surface. Generally, the smoothness refers to the smoothness of the paper, which refers to the time required for a certain amount of air to be discharged into the atmosphere between the sample surface and the annular surface under a specific contact state and a certain pressure difference, which is expressed in seconds (s). The longer the time, the better the smoothness of the paper, and the higher the smoothness. Generally speaking, the smoother the paper, the better the print quality. Therefore, smoothness is a necessary condition for achieving satisfactory print quality.

This instrument adopts a measurement and control system composed of high-precision pressure sensor, original imported oil-free Vacuum Pump, professionally manufactured volume block and solenoid valve, etc., to achieve mercury-free measurement. Levers were applied mechanically for mechanical loading, and the cam mechanism was unloaded. The instrument has the functions of testing, conversion, display, memory, printing, data processing, etc., and has the characteristics of convenient operation and stable performance.
