PN-ST500 Computerized Stiffness Tester is a multi-functional intelligent computerized stiffness Tester, which is suitable for measuring the bending stiffness of paper, cardboard and other strength sheet non-metallic materials with a thickness of less than 2mm.

Stiffness is the force or moment required to bend the specimen of the specified size to a certain angle, is a measure of the strength performance index of paper and cardboard bending, in packaging cardboard, higher bending stiffness makes cardboard have a certain stiffness and strength, high stiffness, beautiful appearance, flat, but stiff is too large, forming is more difficult, and will increase the cost. The stiffness is related to the thickness and quantity of the cardboard, and all the stiffness is controlled within a certain range, which can meet customer requirements and save costs.

The test angle of the instrument can be set arbitrarily between (1~90)°, and the test time can be set arbitrarily within the specified range (3s~30s). It has the function of automatic zeroing test, and uses the color touch screen as a fully automatic stiffness Tester with man-machine interface, which displays the stiffness and time curve in real time, and the touch screen is simple and convenient to operate. This instrument has the functions of testing, display, memory, statistics and printing of various parameters included in the standard, and provides scientific data analysis for cardboard bending stiffness testing.

Features

• 7.5° and 15° stiffness test (arbitrary setting between (1~90)°);

• The test time can be set in any number between (3~30)s;

• The change of test angle is fully automatic controlled by the motor, which improves the measurement efficiency and reduces the influence of human beings;

• It can be tested in 3 bending lengths: 50mm, 25mm, 10mm;

• With automatic zeroing function, there is no need to manually align the sample before testing; 

• It has the functions of measurement statistics, printing, etc., and the measurement time can be set;

• After the test is completed, the high speed returns to the starting position, and the return speed can be set arbitrarily between (1~12);

• The human-machine interface adopts color touch screen, Chinese and English operating system, and can communicate with the host computer software (purchased separately).
