PN-SCTF short-range compressive strength Tester is a short-distance compressive strength testing instrument for paper and cardboard designed and developed according to the national standard GB/T2679.10, which is suitable for manufacturing paper and cardboard for cartons and cartons. Short-range compression, abbreviated as SCT, refers to the maximum compressive force per unit width of the paper and cardboard specimen when it begins to fail, expressed in kN/m, and short-range compression index refers to the short-range compressive strength divided by the quantitative, expressed in N.m/g. The test principle is as follows: a 15mm wide specimen is clamped between two grips with a distance of 0.7mm and compressed until it breaks, the maximum short-range compressive force is measured, and the short-range compressive strength is calculated. Short-distance compression is a new evaluation method of base paper strength in the world, which gradually replaces the ring compressive strength RCT.
