The Defelsko AB adhesive ATADHESIVEKIT is the fitting test adhesive for the PosiTest AT Pull-off Adhesion Tester.

The test prepares a spindle and pre-treatment of the coating

Preparation of the spindle

1. Remove the oxides and dirt from the bottom of the spindle and rub it on the grinding pad 4-5 times.

2. Wipe again with a dry cloth or paper towel.

Preparation of coatings

1. Gently test the surface of the coating with an abrasive pad.

2. To ensure that the spindle and coating are sticky, wipe off the oil and dust on the surface of the coating with alcohol or acetone.

Bonding spindles

1. Apply the mixture of adhesive to the bottom of the spindle smoothly, and the thickness of the adhesive is about 50-100 microns.

2. Glue the spindle to the test area of the coating being tested. Note: If the coating surface is vertical or facing downward, keep the spindle in place while the adhesive is solidifying.

3. Press the spindle gently downward to squeeze out the excess adhesive. But do not rotate and slide the spindle back and forth to prevent bubbles from appearing.

4. Use a cotton swab to carefully wipe off any excess adhesive from the edge of the spindle.
