CDX-III. multi-purpose magnetic particle flaw Detector is a magnetic particle flaw detection equipment with a variety of magnetization methods. The instrument adopts thyristor as a contactless switch, which has low noise, long life, simple and convenient operation, strong applicability and stable operation. It is a new product that has been introduced recently, and in addition to all the advantages of a portable model, it also has some of the advantages of a mobile model, expanding its versatility and simplifying operation. This model is a non-contact ultra-small testing instrument. It has a variety of magnetization methods such as AC rotating magnetic field and magnetic yoke. It is a simple, reliable, lightweight, practical and effective portable multi-functional magnetic particle flaw detection instrument. Four types of probes can be selected: A, D, Ec, and O (one probe is included). In short, the instrument is a combination of a variety of flaw Detectors, with a wide range of functions, especially for the flaw detection of surface parts that are not allowed to be energized and arced.

Probe parameters

1) Horseshoe probe (type A): it can detect flaws on all kinds of fillet welds, internal and external angles of large workpieces;

2) Electromagnetic yoke probe (D type): it is equipped with a live joint, which can detect flaws on curved surfaces and flat workpieces;

3) Rotating magnetic field probe (Ec type): it can carry out one-time comprehensive flaw detection on pressure vessels such as various welds, curved surfaces of various geometric shapes, planes, pipelines, boilers, spherical tanks, etc., and can check the comprehensive defects and scars on the surface of the workpiece;

4) Magnetic ring coil (O-type): It can meet the flaw detection of circumferential cracks that can be put into the coil of all workpieces, and it is very convenient to detect the fatigue marks of the workpiece (the fatigue marks are perpendicular to the axial direction), and it can also be used to demagnetize the workpiece away from the method.

QWhat is the difference between Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment and ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD)?
A Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment detects crazing on the surface of the workpiece, only 2-3mm crazing on the surface and near the surface, and ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD) instrument detects internal defects in the work.
