KU-2 Stormer Viscometer is a test instrument specially used to measure the viscosity of fluids such as paints and coatings in units of Krebs (ie KU value). Via the function keys, the blue backlit LCD display can cycle through Krebs units (KU), gram units (gm) and viscosity values in centipoise (cP).

The instrument adopts a 16-bit microprocessor core control circuit. The paddle rotor rotates at a speed of 200 rpm. The resistance torque it receives in the measured fluid is converted into KU value by the computer and directly displayed on the screen. Refer to ASTM D562 Industry standard, can be converted between KU, gm, cP.
