Applications

Many technical papers, such as cement sack paper, paper sack paper, cigarette paper, cable paper, copy paper and industrial filter paper, need to measure the air permeability. This instrument can be used to measure the porosity of related paper.

Product principle

Turn the pressure screw to make the paper sample tightly pressed between the paper sample clamp ring and the air box. The air box is connected with the pressure gauge and the exhaust pipe inserted into the container below the water surface. Open the overflow valve and the regulating valve , and the water in the container flows out. Vacuum is generated in the upper part, and the regulating valve is adjusted to make the pressure reach certain value. The air passing through the paper sample enters the upper part of the air. At this time, the same volume of water in the container flows into the measuring cylinder. The volume of water is the air permeability of the paper sample.
