The Defelsko Salt Meter PosiTector SST is a salt meter used to measure the concentration of soluble salts on metal surfaces in accordance with ISO 8502-6/8502-9, US Navy NSI 009-32, US Navy PPI 63101-000, Navy NAVSEA 009-32, AS 3894.6, IMO MSC.215(82), IMO MSC.244(83), SSPC Guide 15, ISO 11127-6, ASTM D4940 standard.

The PosiTector SST is available in SST1 Standard and SST3 Advanced, with SST3 having more advanced features.

QHow often should the PosiTector SST probe be calibrated?
A Hello, PosiTector probes include a calibrated certificate that shows the traceability of each probe back to NIST or PTB (long format) - no valid period or end date. It is not specified how often to calibrate. A reasonable calibrated time interval should be selected according to the actual test situation of the customer. Generally, one year is recommended.
