Introduction

This digital micrometer combines high accuracy and resolution, a modern modern look, a rugged mechanical design, and new and improved electronics including a digital linear encoder. The device has a measuring range of 0 – 10 mm (0 – 10000 μm, 0 – 394 mil). Designed to measure the thickness of sheets, the 49-56 can be configured to meet any ISO, ASTM, EDANA, or other international standards for paper thickness, corrugated paper, plastics, plastic films, tissue paper, nonwovens, textiles, and other sheet substrates.
