The initial tack of adhesive products is tested by the inclined rolling ball method, the tilt angle is adjustable from 0 to 40 °, and it is equipped with a fine steel ball position control knob and a GCr15 bearing steel ball, with high accuracy and durability.

PCZ-01 initial tack Tester is manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T4852. It is suitable for testing the initial tack of various adhesive products, such as pressure-sensitive tapes, medical patches, self-adhesive labels, protective films, etc.

Test Principle

The initial tack of the sample is tested by the adhesion of the adhesive tape to the steel ball when the steel ball and the sticky surface of the pressure-sensitive tape sample are in short-term contact with a small pressure by using the inclined-plane rolling ball method. A steel ball is rolled across the sticky side of the adhesive tape lying flat on an inclined plate. According to the maximum size of the steel ball that can stick to the sticky surface of the specified length, evaluate the initial stickiness. The instrument meets a number of national and international standards: GB/T 4852, JIS Z0237.
